Ever since he saw the legendary player known as "the Little Giant" compete at the national volleyball finals, Shoyo Hinata has been aiming to be the best volleyball player ever! He decides to join the team at the high school the Little Giant went to and then surpass him. Who says you need to be tall to play volleyball when you can jump higher than anyone else?"

Review:

The team gets to watch the rest of their opponents' game, and find out who they're going against tomorrow. It's a good game, and takes a good third of the book. There's a little fun between when their next game starts, and then it's all serious.
Karasuno is against Aoba Johsai (Blue Castle). One good team goes down and their first biggest opponent is up. It starts out pretty good, actually, and Karasuno is making some good progress. And then Aoba Johsai throws in a big curve ball of a new player, who himself is a live wire. It's pushing Karasuno for sure, but it's also equally messing up their own team at times. Needing something to mess up the flow for Aoba Johsai, Karasuno switches out a player for Sugawara, which helps for a time.
They're both proving to be very good teams, and they're pushing each other as much as they can. But Karasuno is feeling the need for something else, one more thing to throw them off. That's where the volume ends, and it looks like we'll get to see another character get his chance.
I absolutely love this series, and it has clearly been too long. Even after a break, I love getting back in the mood for this series. It's just so fun, and the excitement is infectious.
